Bitter or better? There's only one letter different :)
Will You Get Bitter or Better?
Thanks for sharing this Meggy :) Beautiful stuff, Jennifer Boykin.
An excerpt from Jennifer:
"THE THORNS MAKE COMMUNITY POSSIBLE
Joy can be an individual experience. When you are joyful, I am happy for you. But I don’t necessarily feel enlightened by your happiness. When you let me see your sorrow, however, then I feel an affinity with you.
It is our shared suffering—our thorns—that make empathy possible.
It is our thorns that make us protective of one another. In this way, thorns are the pathway to community and peace."
crybabynow.com is taking shape as a community to share your suffering as a way to heal yourself & others in the process. Stay tuned as the rose opens.

Do you have an "Approved Customer List"?
When you have a product or service to offer it's important to develop your value proposition. Coming up with that value proposition often crystalizes the objective. And ultimately determines whether your product or service is interesting to others than just you :)
Do others "see" the value that you propose? If so, you're on to something. If not, then maybe something is missing or needs refining. Or re-defining. Or dumping.
Get this right and you're off to developing your "Approved Customer List". Attract your clientele, the ones that YOU want to do business with by being authentic. Wear the black T-shirt.

What makes you tick?
I'm interested in the answer to this question. Not just for myself but for everyone.
And why??
Well because our "ticking" seems to represent motivation. Motivation to start something, finish something, move something from where it's at now to where it's going to be when it's finished. If that's possible.
What starts the ticking? Or keeps the ticking ticking? Or stops the ticking?
As a coach, my experience with young male soccer players is that they'll do almost anything that I ask if I use the language of soccer to start the ticking. Because they want to please me? Hmmm, maybe. Or they think it might make them a better player? Maybe. Or they've just somehow learned to blindly follow authority? Probably not. Because they do the things I ask willfully & with purpose. At least the ones that seem to want more for themselves. That's where the motivation comes in.
Raise your standards, push out of your comfort zone, let the ticking commence :) and carry you forward.
